Associate Dean, Academic and Professional Programs (Administrator III), College of Continuing Education Sacramento
In partnership with the Dean of the College of Continuing Education (CCE) and the programs leads, the Associate Dean over Academic and Professional Programs provides leadership and management for regional workforce and education efforts, academic and professional program offerings, and strategic initiatives that align with university priorities. The Associate Dean is responsible for providing planning, management, and leadership to create and sustain strong partnerships across university divisions and with external entities such as employers, community organizations, philanthropic foundations, workforce development boards, elected officials, non-profit organizations, and complementary educational entities. The Associate Dean oversees the administration of Academic and Professional Programs, which provides academic and professional skills programs for adult learners. Responsibilities include development of new degree programs, credential programs, credit certificate programs, contract credit and paraprofessional, career and technical non-credit programs through an equity lens in support of learners’ needs in collaboration with other colleges at Sacramento State.
