The Administrative Support Coordinator II (ASC II) in Geography provides administrative and clerical support through successful coordination of projects/events/activities while being cognizant of deadlines. Under general supervision of the Department Chair, the incumbent is responsible for the day-to-day office management. PDS's are accountable for reviewing proposals and budgets for completeness, accuracy, and compliance; and must identify and resolve issues and concerns prior to submission by the Associate Vice President. PDS's must stay current with agency and university regulations, and are charged with making recommendations to the AVP and Associate Director on the development and implementation of new research administration policies and practices, and providing feedback on how changes may affect their assigned colleges and departments.
