Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Sacramento
The Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs is the university's Chief Academic Officer and Senior Vice President. The Provost/SVPAA provides intellectual and academic leadership for the university’s educational mission. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overseeing all areas of Academic Affairs currently comprised of seven academic colleges, Continuing Education, Graduate Education, Undergraduate Education, Library, Office of the Provost, and other programs and centers. The position is responsible for providing oversight and management of Academic Affairs complex budget, personnel programs, faculty affairs, strategic planning, and implementation. The incumbent will provide leadership in the planning, development, assessment of academic programs, and oversight of all academic and research initiatives at the university. The incumbent is responsible for building institutional capacity for multi-year planning while creating clear and transparent processes that align strategic, academic, and operational planning, resource allocation functions, and managing a complex budget of over $130 million.
Students and Personnel Analyst Sacramento
The Administrative Analyst/Specialist (AA/S) functions under the general direction of the Dean and Associate Deans in the College of Health and Human Services, providing administrative coordination and analysis. The incumbent also provides direct administrative support to the Associate Dean of Student Success and Personnel of CHHS, to include assisting with committees, scheduling, travel, preparing reports, meetings, and other data-tracking duties. The incumbent is expected to work under pressure with frequent interruptions while prioritizing assignments in order to meet deadlines while dealing cordially and professionally with a diverse array of visitors to the Dean's Office. Director of Psychological Services Sacramento
The Director provides administrative leadership for Psychological Services/CAPS, including the development of program and service goals, objectives and strategic plans. The Director develops policies, procedures, clinical protocols, identifies personnel needs and resources, and evaluates program outcomes. The Lieutenant oversees 24/7 patrol, investigation operations, and Dispatch services. The Associate Director for Residential Education at California State University, Sacramento, reports to the Senior Director for University Housing Services and oversees residential curriculum, theme and living-learning communities, front desk management, crisis and conduct management, hall opening and closing processes, and budget planning and management. The role involves the selection, supervision, and evaluation of up to 2 Assistant Directors, 7 Residence Hall Coordinators, 2 Graduate Student Assistants, 53 paraprofessionals, and 75 student employees for a residential population of 2,100 students across seven communities. Additional duties include oversight of Residential Education workgroups, serving on university committees, participating in the leadership on-call duty rotation, and serving as a liaison to other housing areas (operations, marketing, facilities, conferences). The Associate Director may be called to act as Administrator-in-charge in the absence of the Executive Director.
