The Health Communications Specialist will be responsible for strategic public health communication, campus-wide public health campaigns, and marketing strategies for SHCWS to enhance the value of health and wellness as an essential component of student success and retention. This position will be responsible for promoting a positive department image by collaborating with SHCWS staff and leadership, and other University departments, in the initiation, execution, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of strategic public health communications to proactively communicate the mission, vision, and services to enhance student health and wellness. Student Health, Counseling & Wellness Services (SHCWS) embraces a holistic and collaborative approach to healthcare by offering urgent care, primary care, preventative services, wellness education, violence support services, and mental health, services to the Sacramento State campus community. SHCWS is committed to providing quality care and service delivery and is accredited through the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). |
