| The School of Nursing is seeking candidates for our part-time lecturer/clinical pool to teach clinical and skills in the undergraduate prelicensure program. We occasionally have the need for part-time lecturers in the RN-BSN, MSN, and School Nurse programs. Of particular interest are in the areas of mental health, school nursing, and community health. Teaching in the School Nursing program can be year-round as courses are also held in summer. |

| The Registered Nurse (RN) primary responsibility is to conduct initial nursing triage assessments for walk-in, telehealth, urgent, and scheduled visits to determine acuity and appropriate level of care, provide responsive, sound, and accurate medical triage and assessment of patients. Provides patient education, counseling, and anticipatory guidance for common conditions, treatment plans, and self-care. Coordinates referrals to medical providers, mental health professionals, or external specialists as appropriate. Administers vaccines per CDC and state guidelines. Reviews and validates immunization records, ensuring compliance with university and public health requirements. Student Health, Counseling & Wellness Services (SHCWS) embraces a holistic and collaborative approach to healthcare by offering urgent care, primary care, preventative services, wellness education, violence support services, and mental health, services to the Sacramento State campus community. SHCWS is committed to providing quality care and service delivery and is accredited through the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). |
