| Student Health and Counseling Services is a fully integrated health care/wellness facility. A Ph.D. or Psy.D in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA accredited program is REQUIRED for this position. The psychologist in this position will work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes Primary Care, Pharmacy, Nutrition Services, Sport Medicine, Athletic Training, and Health and Wellness Services. As major focus of this position will involve conducting assessments, including ADHD, neurodiversity, and personality assessment as well as providing clinical services including short-term individual and couples counseling, group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, psycho-educational workshops, and case management. In addition to direct clinical services, the psychologist will provide campus outreach, training, and consultation to students, faculty, and staff. |

Incumbents attend a Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) certified academy to develop the minimum qualifications necessary to assume a position as a sworn police officer. Upon successful completion of the required P.O.S.T. training within the required time frame and the discretion of management, the Police Officer Cadet may be appointed to the classification of Police Officer (Class Code 8350) on a probationary basis. |
