Library Services Specialist III - Serials & Electronic Resources Sacramento
Working independently under the direct supervision of the Head of Collection Management Services, and in close collaboration with the Acquisitions Coordinator, the LSS III Serials and Electronic Resources Specialist is responsible for ordering and managing materials in the library that arrive on a periodic basis, including print and electronic newspapers, magazines, journals, and government documents. Responsibilities include: managing print and electronic serials acquisitions and renewals; monitoring renewal cost increases; monitoring and dealing with adds and drops from packages; preparing reports; participating in the assessment of department operations and functions; drafting documentation; providing training to department staff; and interpreting library procedures and policies pertaining to the acquisition of serials and government documents. Responsible for all aspects of managing the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP). Maintains usage and cost-per-use data for serials; responds to requests for holdings, usage, and cost-per-use data; prepares requested reports; supports data-driven decisions about collections.

A Ph.D. or Psy.D in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA accredited program is REQUIRED for this position.
