Position Summary
The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Advancement Services and Prospect Management reports to the Vice President of University Advancement and is a senior leader in the division of University Advancement. The AVP provides direction and leadership to key fundraising service areas including database management, reporting and analysis, prospect management, and financial services support for the University Foundation Board at Sacramento State, while ensuring compliance with institutional, CSU, and regulatory organization guidelines. The AVP cross-collaborates with team members, Foundation leadership and internal end-users to strategically align available resources to create data-driven solutions and help achieve institutional goals.
Advancement Services and Stewardship is instrumental to Sacramento State's ability to achieve its outreach, fundraising, event, and stewardship goals. We manage information to better support engagement and fundraising efforts with alumni, faculty and staff, friends, and the community. Our team manages, analyzes, and leverages the data needed to inform organizational strategy through prospect research and management. We are responsible for processing, recording, and acknowledging all philanthropic gifts and for thanking and celebrating the commitments that donors make to Sacramento State.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the current Annual Security Report (ASR) is available for viewing at https://www.csus.edu/clery .
The ASR contains the current security and safety-related policy statements, crime prevention and sexual assault prevention information, and drug and alcohol prevention programming. The ASR also contains statistics of Clery Act crimes for Sacramento State for the last three (3) calendar years. Paper copies are available upon request at the Police Service Center located in the University Union.
