Under the general supervision of the Director of Football Operations and Director of Recruiting, the Football Operations & Recruiting Coordinator provides a broad range of administrative support to the Football department. The incumbent acts as an office manager: answers department phones, greets visitors, prepares/composes and screens correspondence, prepares various mass mailings, prepares and collate manuals, orders office supplies, assists with on-boarding/exit of employees, and assists coaches with travel requests and reconciliation. The incumbent will be solely responsible for the successful on-boarding of incoming, signed student-athletes. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating and executing all prospective student-athletes’ on-campus visits, summer camps, and alumni/donor events. The incumbent will also assist managing player-community service events.
The incumbent is expected to travel with the team to away games in order to ensure travel plans are successfully executed and should be available to troubleshoot and modify should plans that need adjusting. For example, the incumbent should ensure that the travelers with the team board the plane on time, and coordinate with the Director of Football Operations to ensure ground transportation is available upon arrival, that hotel accommodations are adequate, and that meals are executed properly. The incumbent is expected to attend home football games and to greet and engage donors, boosters and recruits to ensure that they have a positive experience.
CSU Classification Salary Range: $3,440 - $5,639 per month
Hiring Range: Within the classification range, commensurate with experience.

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM with hours outside of these to meet operational needs.

Entry to this classification requires a fully functional knowledge of and skill in standard office procedures and practices, as well as an ability to understand and operate in a variety of organizational structures. Additionally, incumbents are expected to have a thorough knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation and be able to clearly communicate orally and in writing. Some positions may require knowledge of business mathematics beyond basis arithmetic. The ability to use and quickly learn new office support technology systems and software packages is also a prerequisite.
These entry qualifications would normally be obtained through a high school program, technical/vocational program, or their equivalents combined with several years of related office work experience.

8. Fluency in using standard office software (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Suite); experience using more specific football software solutions such as ARMs, Teamworks, DVSport, and Pro Football Focus (or similar products)
9. Working knowledge of financial recordkeeping and procedures
10. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
11. Demonstrated knowledge of Division I NCAA rules and regulations
Work Schedule Requirements:
12. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
13. Ability to travel with the team to away games, as needed.
Conditions of Employment:
- Ability to pass a background check.
14. 3+ years of related experience, which includes 1+ years working in a NCAA Division I football program
15. 2+ years of experience of student-athlete recruiting
16. Working knowledge of image and/or video editing software
