The ideal candidate for this joint appointment in the Department of Humanities and Religious Studies and the Department of History will have expertise in pre-modern Chinese history and culture, including religion, and facility with appropriate languages. The candidate should be able to employ discipline-specific methodologies in approaching various aspects of culture over time, including religion.
